
Quinton Boykin

Quinton Boykin is an experienced engineer with over 10 years in manufacturing, supply chain management, operations, and quality control. He is currently global purchasing manager with Electrolux in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, he develops the strategy for compressor and refrigerant gas categories and manages annual spend over $150 million. Quinton oversees markets in Latin America, Asia and Europe with regard to contract negation and sourcing while managing a diverse supplier portfolio. Prior to this role, he served as senior buyer and project manager at Aplix, Inc., with responsibility for global sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing all raw materials (mono and multifilament yarns, plastic resins, adhesives, binders, and colorants) for hook and loop, extrusion, and injection molding applications. Over his career, he served in various roles of increasing responsibility, including at Interstate Container, Continental Tires, and Honda of South Carolina in the manufacturing and supply chain management area. He serves as an Independence High School Academy of Engineering advisor and has been recognized by the Thomas Media Group as South Carolina’s 2017 “20 Under 40.” He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, Clemson University Student Alumni Association and an IPTAY collegiate. Quinton serves on the board of Directors with the North Columbia Community Enrichment Foundation. Additionally, he serves on the Food and Beverage Logistics Board at The Palmetto Club where he and his wife, Morgan Nelson Boykin, are active members. Quinton enjoys golf, hunting, tailgating Clemson football games and being the proud father of Arlington.
